User Care Guide

Congratulations on selecting Skypebble for your new swimming pool interior surface. Although this surface is extremely durable and resilient, it is still important to maintain the correct water balance to ensure the surface remains in excellent condition for many years to come.

Recommended Water Balance
Total Alkalinity: 200 ppm.
p.H : 7.6 – 7.8
Total Hardness : 150 – 200 ppm
Salt : Do not add salt for the first 6 weeks;
use liquid chlorine for this time.
Note : It is important to chemically balance your pool and or spa once it has finished filling.

Please take this guide to your local Pool Shop or Service Agent together with your water sample for correct balancing to the above levels.

Handy Hints
:
When adding the initial salt after 6 week curing period, cut open bags and pour contents into pool. Be sure to broom thoroughly all salt residues on the floor until all salt is fully dissolved and has disappeared.

p.H control using Hydrochloric Acid.
Hydrochloric Acid is used to lower the pool water p.H level.
Never add more than 500mls of Hydrochloric acid per day. Dilute acid by adding to a full 10ltr bucket of water prior to slowly adding to the deep end, avoiding contact with the pool interior. Always follow safety instructions on acid packaging.
